CNC milling - description of the process

CNC milling is used to machine plastic block materials of different hardnesses and densities out of the solid. The NC programs are generated with Tebis after the tool design and transferred to the machine control. This allows the milling cutter to move to any point in the area to remove material from the blank as defined in the program (roughening, smoothing, residual stock machining). Free-form surfaces of up to 3 m x 2.5 m x 1 m can be created with exceptional optical and dimensional accuracy.
