FIT AG and pro-beam agree on development cooperation
(Lupburg/Gilching, 2021-05-05) The pro-beam Group, one of the world's leading companies in the field of electron beam technology, and the additive manufacturing specialist FIT AG intend to cooperate in the development of additive manufacturing processes using electron beams.
In a framework agreement, the two manufacturing specialists have expressed their intention to pool their know-how and create new technological opportunities through the resulting synergies. The cooperation will cover the areas of process development, material development, and equipment development for additive electron beam technology.
FIT AG has over 25 years of experience in additive manufacturing, especially in data preparation and process technology. pro-beam has a track record of more than 45 years of expertise in electron beam technology which makes the company the ideal partner for machine engineering.
